First Off, here are my cute kids!
And I have a good one for not blogging for so long......
I spilt water on my keyboard and now the letter B,N, and the spacebar don't work. So it makes it difficult to type. So when I am on facebook, instead of writing comment, I click on the like button instead.
But I am so awesome, I signed up to blog from my phone, which means I will be blogging alot more! Yahoo!
I am blogging at my mom's from my brother Eric's laptop, where all the keys work!
Ok, so what's new at the Klem House, the coolest Klem house of all klems?
Well I start summer school on June 1st. I am taking History of Rock and Roll and World Religions. It was either history of Rock and Roll or philosophy. Call me a blonde, but philosophy would make me question things that I dont care to know about and I would stress myself out thinking to hard. Call me whatever you will, but I choose to live in denial about all things difficult in life. Thats what keeps me happy!
I am also signed up for Math and Communications in the fall and Alyson was registered to go with me. I enrolled her in the children's center and due to budget cuts, they are closing it, so she can't go to school with me. I tried to see about her going with me to paradise valley community college, but they are also closing their children's center due to budget cuts. So head start in an option, but they don't take three year olds in our school district, so we either see if we are eligible to go out of district, Or we go the Dr and see if Alyson has a speech problem. I dont think she does, but head start takes three year olds with speech problems, sometimes Alyson is hard to understand, so you never know. I would just really like to go back to school and I would love to get Alyson into preschool.
So that is what's new on the school front. No wait, here's a pic of my new second grader, Jacob!
I decided I wanted to make a blanket for Shane Figueroa's daughter Kenzlie. Here is the material I am using, I will post a pic when I am done.
As far as making my blog private, I have been too lazy to blog about my accident to need to make it private. Long story short, I was making a left turn. I waited for the light to turn red, it turned yellow, I waited for people to go through it and then when the intersection was clear, I went, and guy ran the light and hit me on my drivers side. I spun around. I tried to get out of my car and couldn't. A guy pried my door open just long enough for me to get out. Then he got Alyson out and went back and got my purse so I could call Matt. A few people let me attempt to use their phones, but they were touch screens and lets face it folks, touch phones are too complicated for me. Old school is how I roll because I am too cheap and poor to get a phone with a keyboard.
So the handsome fireman came and checked us out and the other drivers. I wasn't cleared to go home, but I also didn't know if my insurance covered an ambulance, So I didnt ride in one, only because I didn't want to pay for it.And it wasn't until after all the shock wore off, that I started to feel pain. So Matt was across the street with the tow truck driver when I start to see spots in my eyes and feel nauseous. So after we took the kids home and got Matt's dad to watch them, I spent four hours in the hospital, getting a cat scan, X-rays and two shots in my ass for pain and nausea, that still hurts a month later. I had some major neck pain about 3 days after the accident, but I've been the Chiropractor and now I am not in pain, but not totally better. Because I sit so close to the steering wheel (no airbag, by the way!) I hit my chest on it, I hit my head somewhere and I hit my knee and shin on the dash. The other driver was cut on his face and lips and hurt his lead foot! His wife who was pregnant, was not wearing her seat belt and hurt her elbow and hit her head on the visor. What pregnant woman does not wear a seat belt? An airhead, that's who! I had my seat belt on and Alyson was buckled in her car seat, so she was not hurt. We always wear our seat belts!
SO that's my story and I am sticking to it!
We rode the light rail today. Only a few crazies on board!
OH, I almost forgot. Matt's mom has an extra vehicle that she is kind enough to give to Matt. What a woman. So Matt is flying to Chicago to get it in a few weeks. Its another ford explorer. We look forward to having a second car again. The pontiac is having problems again with stalling. I'm not sure what to do about that. I will probably be riding the light rail out to my moms more often. But I don't mind.
So that's about it
Here is something that will make you laugh, Alyson is feeding Charlie a popsicle, check out how long his tongue is!
And here is the book I am currently reading. Only someone who is not the faint at heart and politically incorrect would enjoy this. Get ready to laugh!
